Horde it! - Part 3

Err... yeah... how long ago was it when I started this? lol, anyways, my next task is to find AV cables for my Mark 1 MegaDrive (or the Genesis as it's known in the States) and Mark 1 MasterSystem. They both have old fashioned DIN sockets on the back that look like this...

What I need is a DIN male to AV male cable.

So off I go to Maplin after University to find the right cable, found one, got home and plugged the cable into the back of my old MasterSystem.

Pretty much it works, however I only noticed when I got home that there was a forth Black AV plug on it, I wonder what it's for. I know that back in the 70s that Black was video, and red was audio but there's a yellow and black? I'll find out eventualy what it's used for.

Animal Crossing Found and DS Game Card Keyrings

Yup, I bloody found the damn game. And as you'll see in this pic it was wedged between my desk leg and my scanner.

So... I took some drastic action to make sure I never lose this damn game ever again. I came up with an idea called "The DS Game Card Keyring".

Step one:

Get a length cellotape/scothtape and stick it to theback of the game.

Step two:

Roll the length of tape against itself until it reaches the game card and no more sticky bits of tape.

Step three:

Using a hole punch, punch a hole into the tape, this will be used to thread the keyring into.

Step four:

Thread the keyring through the hole in the tape.

Step five:

Thread the keyring through your DS wrist strap and wah-lah!

Even if it's attached to your wriststrap, you can still play the game without the need to detach it.

Viva la Carpark!!!

Still suffering from a Cold, I had to go into University to do a VIVA on a network subject that I failed 3 times over. A VIVA if you don't know is a bit like a job interview, but instead of hoping to get a job you hope to get a freaking pass for a university subject. Anyways, things started off fine until a fire alarm went off and we had to get out of Head of Computer Science's office and into the car park. However it took them ages to sort out the problem, so yeah, A freaking VIVA in the middle of a carpark infront of a mass of other people, talk about crazy when it was freaking cold and I'm suffering from cold!

Anyways, Witness the crappy MS Paint top-down diagram of what happend..

So yeah, dispite freezing my butt off, I got an email to say that I passed the VIVA so yay!!! *happy dance*

Colds...

Well, two weeks without Animal Crossing now... and getting that bit more worried about what will happen to my town, though I have abandend it longer before, however I've been addicted to the game. Besides that I have a cold and feel like crap, watching the TV adverts for cold and flu medicene; notice how men seem to suffer colds like they're dying and women just put up with it.

The pain and suffering of drinking Lemsip.

However pet hamsters like to chew on Lemsip sathets.

A girl foollishly swallowing lemsip in the powder form. Don't try this at home kids, honestly, the stuff has parasetamol and asprin inside, you could go OD. However you need to take like 16 of them to OD parasetamol.

AnimalCrossing is Missing...

Yup, for a week now I have lost my copy of AnimalCrossing Wild World on the DS, and so far I have turned my room inside-out twice to find the tiny goddamn game card. I swore that the last time I played it was in my room last Sunday (8/10/06), however I noticed that the game wasn't in my DS or my pouch that I keep my DS games in. I've missed out on the Acorn Festival today due to it missing and I'mm pretty damn annoyed. Where the hell can it be, knowing my luck it's going to be somewhere totally obscure and random that I would never think is there! But yeah, please give me your luck cos I'm having withdrawel symptoms without my AnimalCrossing! :(

Segata Sanshiro!

Listening to the "Best Damn Podcast Ever" (seriously, that is the name of the podcast) had a video podcast about Segata Sanshiro, Japan's Hero to save the Sega Saturn in Japan as it died in a misserable and painful death in Europe and the US. I forgot about this as it was for a short time an Internet craze like Hampster Dance, Badger Badger Badger and Numa Numa (Well for the Japanese at least). if you want to know Segata Sanshiro is a (Japanese) anagram to Sega Saturn Shiro that translates to "You must play Sega Saturn!". Anyways, before I ramble on too long about this, witness the sheer crazyness of the Hardcore gaming Judo master, Segata Sanshiro!

I so lol'd at this one!

Can it get anymore funnier! Yes it can!

And here's a Fan-video replacing the Judo dudes with Gundams! Enjoy!
